Baseball Season.
Long afternoons stretch into nights at the field.
Hot dogs in hand, classic rock booming over the speakers.
Children playing catch, little ones running.
Family, together, sets the atmosphere in the stands.
The sound of a metal bat popping the ball into the outfield.
The thud of the ball striking the catcher’s mitt time and time again.
The crowd cheers, as the home team comes up by one run.
Will they win? We won’t know till’ it’s over.
Anything can happen, this is baseball after all.
