It's been quiet over here lately. Part of that is just because life has been really busy lately and I haven't felt mentally prepared to blog. Part of it is that I'm working on some exciting new things, and I'm just not to the point of sharing yet. The other part is that we had a week vacation in Florida!
Thanks to baseball, we had the opportunity to travel with Keegan's team to Florida and spend a week in the glorious warmth and sunshine! He had baseball games daily, but we also managed to spend a lot of time strolling the beach, picking up shells, exploring the area and enjoying being outside in the warm, beautiful weather, rather than in gloomy, cold Ohio.
We:
-collected shells
-went to the ocean every day
-had fresh orange soft serve ice cream (almost every day)
-ate very well
-saw dolphins in the wild
-went to an orange grove where we also got to feed a lot of farm animals
-went swimming
-rested together
-went barefoot as much as we possibly could
Since Baby Burney is coming in July, this is pretty much the last big trip we will have as a family of three and probably the last extended trip of the year, so we definitely made the best of it and soaked in every second together.
